Perhaps you’ve realized you are in need of a straighter, healthier smile. While doing your research you may have stumbled across pricing estimates for various types of treatments and are wondering, what’s the cheapest teeth straightening option?
What Is the Cheapest Way to Straighten Teeth?
Trying to fit orthodontic treatment into your budget may seem daunting at first, so looking for the cheapest option may seem like the easiest solution.
Unfortunately, there isn’t really one cheap option that’ll give you lasting results. The cost of treatment relies heavily on the type and length of treatment necessary, which are determined by the corrections that need to be made. Treatments vary for everyone, so the cost varies from person to person as well.
Trying to cut corners on orthodontic treatment can lead to not getting the proper care you need. Some patients try treatment methods they find online that are not backed by orthodontists because they seem less expensive. Unfortunately, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
How Can I Pay for Orthodontic Treatment?
There are a number of different ways to fit treatment into your budget. Here are some options Smith Orthodontics provides to help you pay for your braces.
Insurance: While insurance generally doesn’t completely cover the cost of braces or Invisalign, it can reduce the amount you have to pay. If you have insurance that covers any portion of your orthodontic treatment, our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork.
Our in-network status with several major insurance providers means you get the best coverage they offer and the payments are made directly to our office, so you don’t have to forward checks or ask to be reimbursed.
Payment Plans And Care Credit: We offer in-office payment plans that allow patients to pay a reasonable down payment at the beginning of treatment and make affordable monthly payments. Our payment plans are interest-free and managed through us rather than a third party.
We also accept payments through CareCredit. CareCredit offers short-term financing options for healthcare costs not covered by insurance, including orthodontic treatment. This program is also interest-free as long as the balance is paid in full by the end of the term.
HSAs And FSAs: Health savings accounts (HSAs) are offered to people who have high-deductible insurance plans and allow them to set aside pre-tax dollars for medical care. Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) do the same for those with normal deductibles, but the money saved must be used by the end of the year. Both of these accounts can be used to pay for braces.
Military Discount: To show our gratitude to those who have served or are currently serving, we offer a 10% discount to veterans, service members, and their immediate families.
A healthy smile is a worthwhile investment. There are no cutting corners or life hacks that’ll give you a long-lasting, brilliant smile. You can schedule your free consultation with Smith Orthodontics and our team will give you a treatment plan and cost estimate, and we can help you choose the best payment option for your budget.
