Our Staff
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is certified by the West Virginia Dental Board of Expanded Duties Assisting, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. In fact, we have combined over 30 years of experience in dentistry and orthodontics.
We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars on infection control, Invisalign and training offered through the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting.
Heather Ferguson
Heather has been with Smith Orthodontics for three years. She is the very proud mother of three teenagers. She lives in Washington, WV, and enjoys spending time with her family, watching sporting events (Go South Patriots & WVU Mountaineers!) and watching her teens in their many activities.
Serena Eddy
Serena began her orthodontic career with Dr. Smith’s father over 25 years ago. She loves working with patients of all ages and getting to know each and every one. Serena lives in Parkersburg and she is very proud to be owned by three very spoiled cats. Some of her hobbies include reading and watching independent movies.
Missy Evans
Missy Evans is the newest member of Smith Orthodontics. She lives in Palestine WV with her two children, Logan, 12 and Jordan, 17. She enjoys spending time with her family riding 4 wheelers and watching WV Mountaineers football!
